SHOES!! And some more shoes! That’s my answer to that ear worm🥵
One of my favourite details from your wedding day, have to be the shoes of both, bride and groom. I've seen so many different varieties, from heels, pumps, flip flops.... So many trends! Even the bespoke shoe, which was bling’d up from a old faithful to a beautiful up-sparkled themed heel, reminiscent of irregular choice styling. Sorry gentlemen, the ladies really do go to town on this one, a lot more than men. So, if any grooms want to surprise us, then please do! We welcome quirky and funny details.
I thought I would share one of our Autumn Weddings, so you can get a feel for how you bring EXTRA to your day, with pops of colour! Even when the sun is setting lower the day.
Real Wedding - Ross & Christina James at Hogarth’s Solihul
I also love, the accent heal, especially when it's my favourite colour red. One of my previous couples Christiana and James Ross, had a Autumn wedding at “Hogarth's Solihull”. It was a beautiful outdoor Wedding Ceremony, which took place on a small island, under a tree house!! You had to walk across a small bridge, surrounded by trees. The trees and ferns were touched with gold as they were starting to slip into winters embrace, but gave rise to beautiful tones on the editing of each photograph. The red lipstick and red shoes and short length vintage styled wedding dress, added that extra pop of drama, which looked great on the photos!
The theme was rustic, shabby chic styling with an essence of vintage love.
We asked Christina about her cherry red heels, How important is it to choose the right shoes?
" I always knew I wanted something different to the classic ivory shoes. You have to find the right ones for you it took me longer to choose my shoes than my dress 😂🙈 as Marilyn Monroe said "give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world"
We also love Christina's choice in dress and its length. We were able to use the grounds to the best because we had no fear of the dress getting dirty especially with the ground being moist in Autumn.
